The second event in the Allsvenskan Sailing (Swedish J/70 Sailing League) was conducted off the seaside town of Örnsköldsvik. There were 14 flights for the 18 teams. Then, the six best clubs competed in the finale in a double point race to determine the overall winner. In the end, there was no question the Royal Swedish Yacht Club (KSSS) had their fingers on the pulse of this second Act. In 14 races sailed, the KSSS crew managed to win eight races and compile a record that had 13 podium finishes. They could have finished last in the double-points finale and still won. Their fourth place finale gave them 34 points total for the series to handily give them the Gold Medal. Nine points back, taking the silver by winning the finale was Halmstads Segelsällskap with 43 points total. Then, rounding out the podium to earn the bronze was Stenungsund Segelsällskap with 45 points total. The balance of the top five was quite close: just one point back was Royal Gothenburg YC (GKSS) in fourth and only three points further back was Sotefjordens Segelsällskap. As a result of this series, KSSS continues to grow their overall lead for the series having posted a 2-1 overall for 3 points. Now there is a tie for second place on 7 points each between Stenungsund Segelsällskap (4-3) and Hjuviks Batklubb (1-6). Then, sitting just one point in arrears is Sotefjordens Segelsällskap (3-5).
