From October 2-5, the 2025 J/70 South American Championship was held at the Argentino Yacht Club, Dársena Norte, in the framework of a new edition of the Buenos Aires Week. A total of 52 boats participated. The weather was variable—started with calm and warm days, and the closing of the Championship brought a rainy Sunday that quickly gave way to intense sun. After several hours of waiting on the water, around 15:00 hs, the wind blew from the south with streaks of more than 20 knots, allowing the fleet to complete its last regatta and thus finish the South Americans.
