The First Armenian J/70 Open Championship was held on 4-8 September 2024. The 4th and 5th were training days, and the 6th, 7th and 8th were racing days. We had great reviews from sailors. All the sailors noted the new unique location and that Lake Sevan is a amazing place for sailing. On Lakу Sevan, there are great winds every day, a large water area and the unique sensation of racing at an altitude of 1900 meters above sea level. The Championship had participation from 23 teams from countries such as:

Armenia – 2 teams
