La Rochelle Nautique welcomed the French J/70 Class for the ninth and final stage of the Coupe de France. This 2024 edition of the Trophée Navigatlantique took place from November 9-11 in ideal weather conditions with sun and winds of 5 to 16 knots. After eight races, it was Hervé Leduc’s JIBE SET crew of Christine Briand, Stephane Barraux and Thomas Cormier who won with four firsts and three seconds for 10 points net. Taking the silver was Philippe Guigne’s SAILING IMPACT crew of Cedric Meunier, Damien Scelo and Tanguy Caron with three firsts and three seconds in their tally for 12 points net. Rounding out the podium was Nicolas Rostand’s LE TIB team of Iris Rostand, Stephane LeFranc, Jean-Paul Roux and Gaetan Aunette with a first and four thirds for 23 points net.
