Several different classes participated in the Flensburger Förde Woche, including J/70s for the first time. Eight very good teams took to the water, and the winner was Christian Soyka-SV Itzehoe. This team gets a wild card for the Champions League in Porto Cervo. Second place was Gordon Nickel, third place was Erik Schlaaff-Yacht Club Berlin Grünau, and Björn Beilken was fourth. Four races were completed Saturday in winds between 12-20 knots, but light winds on Sunday only allowed one race. For complete results, click here.
